Was this a good book? Yes! I enjoyed parts of this book very much. Did the ending completely ruin the rest of it for me? Yes, yes it did. I enjoyed Eli and Layla but the ending was so sad. I won't discount the whole book for that though, I just prefer the happily ever after. If a beautiful love story with a gut wrenching ending is what you are looking for than this is definitely the book for you.
