It Had to Be Love is book two in the It Had to Be series by Tamra Bauman. I liked the first book in this series so much, I was very excited when I was given the opportunity to read this second book.
Tara Carter is hiding from her past. She moved to Anderson Butte, Colorado to reclaim her life and start over. Sheriff Ryan Anderson knows she's hiding something, and although he doesn't usually date the women in town, he makes an exception for Tara. She learns to trust again and he learns that happiness is sometimes right in front of us and we just fail to see it. There is a suspenseful plot, that you see coming but enjoy all the same. There are some cameo appearances from the characters we came to love in the first book, for me that was the Grandmother. This is a story that delivers well developed characters, an interesting story line, and of course a yummy Hero and a terrific HEA.
I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
