Mark your calendars for September 8th because you will not want to miss this fabulous book! Making A Play, is the second book in the Hometown Players series.Luc Richard is a yummy NHL player who finds himself all to often in the gossip paper spotlight. He's been told by management to cool it so he swears off women and goes back to his hometown of Silver Bay, Maine. There he is reunited with his childhood friend Rose Caplan. What he doesn't know is that Rose has been in love with him since she was a kid. She is tired of being the shy, sweet girl and decides to make a play for Luc once and for all. While her attention to Luc is not entirely unwanted it couldn't come at at worse time for him. This is a marvelously written story of unrequited love that finally gets its day. I enjoyed reading about some of the characters from the first book and learning about Rose and Luc. This is an incredibly sweet and sexy romance. I enjoyed it so much.
My only complaint is that we have to wait until December to get book three!
